Hello, your video was helping in many ways, but despite that i am a little bit confused. You said that absorbance is intensity of the light incipient divided by the intensity of the light transmitted. Later on, you said that absorbance is the zecimal logaritm of that fraction. But isn't it a disparity? Isn't it like we would say that absorbance is the zecimal logaritm of absorbance?? Please help me understand! :D

First of all, i thank you as you are the first one to notice this ..... At first , i have to admit that is not the actual Formula for Absorbance , since Absorbance is t always the logarithm of the ratio of the intensities of the incident light (Io) and the transmitted light (I). Bur to make it easy to understand i have written that equation otherwise the Absorbance is always decimal logarithm of absorbance A = log ( Io/I) You are right , and i am sorry if i have confused u in that case,,,, Thanks again

First of all, thanks. The video really helped me a lot. But I have some confusions here. At 2:38 , you said A(absorption) can be written as log(I°/I) and also A=log(1/T) then you said 1/T= 1/(I/I°) = ( I/I°) On the last part you wrote I/I°🔝instead of I°/ I ... Which was wrong probably and also you show absorbtion is the Incident intensity divided by the transmitted intensity...then next time you wrote A=log(I°/I) Please can you explain what you did there?

AT 2:38 the absorption is as log(I°/I) and there might be any audio delay which creates confusion. secondly the absorption is the ratio of intensity of Incident light to the Transmitted light. ( Incident intensity divided by the transmitted intensity) I am sorry for audio delays on some occasions which might be puzzling .😊😊
