1.Stear force calculated is in a horizontal section of b and dx. But shear stress to be obtained was in vertical surface . How to understand it? 2. As shown in the stress diagram along the axis of beam, there is no equlibrium of the horizontal force. Is the stear stress determined in non equibrium stage or in equibrium stage?

ANSWER to question 1: Shear stress is complementary. For the same force any shear force value in the vertical, there is an equal shear force in the perpendicular plane to the vertical plane.

Its a very nice way of explaining things. Good figures , good handwriting, only thing which can be avoided is - naming the points, if 'A-B" is used to indicate length, the face of cross section should be represented by, say "p- Q" and not 'A-B" again. If force is represented by 'W' , then it should be reflected in the equation as W and not F ... But in general a good way of teaching

I really like the explanation Just one doubt, won't the value of 'W' be 1000*10, since it is a UDL and the total load on the bean in such case is (load/m)*(dist)

I think let us take simply supported beam bending moment at centre and any section is not same it means bending moment along the length varies that's why m+dm comes sir
