Hello dr green in your precalculus video for freecodecamp ellipses equation √(x-(-c))^2 +(y-0)^2 + √(x-(-c))^2+(y-0)^2 = 2a After fair amount of algebra (simplifies to )(a^2-c^2)x^2 + a^2 y^2 = a^2(a^2-c^2) And also the equation for hyperpola which was =√(x+c)^2+y^2 - √(x-c)^2+y^2 = 2a which simplifies to (c^2 -a^2)x^2 - a^2y^2 = a^2(c^2-a^2) Can you please prove this equations for me!
