Deriving Spherical Law of Cosines

This video tutorial explains how to derive the spherical law of cosines using a gnomonic projection and planar trigonometry. When a spherical triangle is projected onto a plane in this way, it becomes a planar triangle that we can use the original law of Cosines on.
