That was excellent. Learned a lot. Subscribed 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 I’m a GP in the Dominican Rep. I’ve noticed that when I treat a hand contact dermatitis with topical steroids after a few days or weeks of treatment the patient usually develops scales, Is that a good or bad sign regarding prognosis or does that mean that I should reconsider another diagnosis/treatment?

That's tough to say. I'm guessing you're just seeing the change from an acute eczematous dermatitis to a subacute or chronic one, so as long as you're certain about it being an eczematous hand rash to start, topical steroids are the mainstay of therapy.
