to help it absorb better, apply your moisturizer on damp skin after cleansing. this helps lock in hydration. i always do this, and it makes a noticeable difference. i apply riceberry face moisturizer of littlllexttra on slightly damp skin and then add its sunscreen. this helps me stay hydrated and safe throughout the day. I’ve begun to hear compliments now. just a small tip like this can make a big impact

My favorite sunscreen that I use is the Vanicream SPF 30 - this sunscreen is lightweight and fragrance free - a nice matte finish with no white cast. I have sensitive skin with Rosacea this product doesn't irritate my skin at all 💕 Take care everyone 🌹

Thanks for the update, I did not know of this new product. I have senstive combo/oily skin and the spf 30 product was just too thick for my skin. I love the hybrid as I like mineral sunscreens so I am definitely going to give this a try. Can count on you to keep me informed and with truthful opinions.

I am glad you reviewed this. I was not aware of the higher SPF in the AM. I wear the SPF 30 AM daily. I have it on my Amazon Subscribe & Save. Now ...updating to the SPF 50!

​@@danielsugaimd I love it! It is slightly thicker than the SPF 30. I put it on my freshly washed face, and it glides & blends nicely. My face has a refreshing glow. It feels a bit tacky when I first put it on, but that goes away quick enough. I wear it without any makeup. I only wear eye makeup when I do. Ohio 80s and stays fresh.

Hi Dr.Sugai. I live in Europe and CeraVe is really getting more attention. Anyway, during their lunch, I guess a little more than a year ago they introduced two Moisturizers with SPF 30 and 50. Obviously,with EU approved filters.... unfortunately they will leave a slight white cast....it doesn't bother me because this is a nice Moisturizer to be used, in my opinion , maybe as a first layer. I don't see niacinamide in the ingredient list... it does contain alcohol, but not to high in the ingredient list. I remember also enjoying the US version of SPF 30...I hope you can get a chance to try this EU version

My son uses the EU 50 version and we don’t notice a huge white cast. He is naturally light though. He is on acne prescription meds and other sunscreens break him out. This one much less so and he gobs it on. 😂

.. Thank you for your honest advice. Your nails are very long, I can hear the sound from here. I go to Ulta to get perfume, so I will look for the new Cerave moisturizer with SPF 50, I remember saying that I like it for Summer, because it is light and now I know where to get it at Ulta, which is around the corner. I am definitely interested in trying this. I'm currently using up my Cetaphil SPF 50 mineral face sunscreen which I've been using for a few years, and I'm using Laroche Posay Tolerian UV 30 Moisturizer for my neck.

I love this 50 spf and no withe casting like the 30 Spf, l suffer with my skin , l started a Treclin and I am on it a month now and I can see a difference! So I went out and bought all the Cerave products foaming Cleaner moisturizer am pm! And the LA'Roche post love it my skin feels better and looks healthy!😍

Aww thank you for watching! Best way to reapply over makeup are the setting powder with mineral uv filters (supergoop, isdin, SkinBetter, colorescience). Hangnails are tough and Vaseline is best for them!

Hello doctor. I’m new to your channel. I wish that I were in your area to see you! I just watched and saved your rosacea video. Would you do an updated version? I’m recently diagnosed. I’m struggling to understand the causes. The demodex mites connection. The connection to food triggers and how to find those. Do trigger foods cause symptoms in hours or is it days, etc. I’m waiting for an appointment with a new dermatologist. The old one was all about antibiotics and Metro cream, which I think I’m allergic to. I’m looking for budget or mid priced products to try and build a facial routine that will help the microbiome on my face. I’ve been researching non stop, but it’s so hard to tell what is real and what is marketing!

Yes! It’s a great one product although I would use tretinoin in the evening as sunlight can make it less effective and stable.

Yes- more of a matte finish and likely good under makeup. No pilling for me. Great for 40+ with oily skin given the niacinamide!
