Back in 2019, I suffered from the worst acne I’ve ever had in my life. I think it was the stress of moving, graduating college, and going from a humid to a dry atmosphere. I incorporated a 10% Benzoyl peroxide spot treatment into my skincare routine and it nearly single-handedly cleared up my entire face. It was a godsend for me.

The cetaphil gentle clear complexion clearing bpo acne cleanser sent me to the ER twice within 48 hours of using it. I had a severe allergic reaction and my throat closed up. My eyes were swollen, I had hives everywhere and according to the other reviews online I’m not the only person who experiences this. Use with caution because I almost died this weekend using it.

I have experienced pimples for a year. I began improving by doing little things like using fresh towel and changing my pillowcase often. I feel lucky to have this facewash. This hydrating face wash - riceberry by little extra is the best face wash for pigmentation. The face wash reduces my dark spots. The face wash is the best facial cleanser for combination skin. Another plus point is this riceberry face wash is totally herbal.

I absolutely LOVE the Cetaphil Gentle Clear one. Not only does it clear up my skin but it leaves my skin feeling so soft, and not at all dry. I think it might be my new favorite cleanser

They don't sell the cerave cleanser, hear😢😢😢. This was my perfect cleanser!!! It has everything i need. Hyaluronic acid, Niacinamide, and Benzoyl peroxide! Im gonna diee i swear. Edit: Yeah, i just found out that it's mostly banned in the EU. You can buy it at the pharmacy, but you mostly need a prescription to be able to buy it. But they infact don't have the cerave cleanser hear. So im probably going to go with a salicylic acid product mostly likely going to be the ordinary serum.

Come and live in the UK and discover that there is just one BP cleanser available thats 5%. No choice of percentage or formulation. Cereve don’t sell theirs over here. Likewise topical. You cannot buy less than 5% in the UK

Hi Dr. Jenny, I use both the Cerve/Panoxyl with Tretinoin each night. From my understanding after watching the video this isn't good? Should I just use the BP cleanser in morning and a BP free cleanser at night with the Tretinoin? Will that make the Tretinoin effective?

No it’s fine as long as you tolerate, otherwise you can switch to morning

I have a question for using PanOxyl for bacne and underarms.. should I clean the areas with soap before using this product because of the oils on my body and the deodorant under my arms.. will the PanOxyl clean those areas good enough? Hopefully this makes sense. I would love to know!

If you're using a cleanser, it is meant to clean and so you don't need to wash beforehand. But if you use the 10% and you want to cleanse beforehand, it is recommended to use a gentle, moisturizing cleanser to avoid possible side effects from the high concentration

Hey yall I just used this and when I tell you. IT WORKS!!! I’m almost in tears. I did put deodorant on so I want to see how well it does throughout the night or if it will start to irritate the skin or if I’ll be musty in the morning! So far so good. I’ll I smell is my deodorant. Most times after exfoliating and re washing my armpits, I can still smell must afterwards. But not tonight. I’m shookith right now!

hi! I know I’m not the doctor but I use the cerave 4% Benzoyl peroxide and I have oily/acne prone skin. Since I have oily skin, I don’t slug as often but I still do it and my skin comes out really glowing and nice afterwards!

no, benzoyl peroxide does not help with any acne related hyperpigmentation or any hyperpigmentation at all. it is just an antibacterial ingredient that treats active acne and prevents acne from forming. i would recommend azeleic acid and / or retinoids for acne marks. (recommended by doctorly, dr dre, and other dermatologists here on youtube).

yes benzoyl peroxide has been proven to help reduce underarm odor and technically you can apply any acne treatment anywhere on the body not just your face. i have a salicylic acid body wash from ceyaphil that i use on my face because it’s a better value to get the body wash and it’s fragrance free meant for acne 🤷🏻‍♀️ 😊

I get deep acne that causes redness for several months after. What should I put on it after a deep zit to help the redness go down faster? My skin is normally gets worse with scrubs but does well with silykic scid cleanser during an outbreak. Benzoyl peroxide feels like it helps the inflammation but continues the irritation underneath.
