Lyrics: See the killer was a coward Dark deeds in dark towers So he fled when they came Blowin' brass, carrying chains They wanna lock him in the dark They wanna kill what's in his heart But they left the town to hunt him down They left one man to hold it down But when they get back he's in the throne Looks like the killers fucking clone Says he's got ideas of his own But there's one thing he killed to know See there's a hero in the crowd And his heart starts beating loud Says the killer took his friend And decides that this is where it ends So the night the kings walk in the tower His eyes lit up with all the power And the hero is ghosting by the guards And his heart is carrying a charge He stabs him in his cunning heart The scream tore sea and sky apart So you want fears? We still got several At least the killer's dancing with the devil And the hero did it For days when you don't know if the moon will ever come, let it Blaze down and I'm telling you man it's sweet when it does and when I Think of you I think of spirit defined I think of all the love that we shared at a very dark time So the hero did it for the summer For long days with that sun in your hair For fires and family For the phrase "Don't ever leave me" The sorrow won't be finding me no more! (x3) When youre coming home now The sorrow won't be finding me no more! (x3) When youre coming home now

Is it just me or does the fact that this song is not on Spotify make it all the more uniquely great. This song is amazing the lyrics are insanely good not just words but mini puzzles and poems that are hard to breakdown and fully understand, we all have one thing in common here, when we think of this song its this version we wanna hear...the killer was a coward 🖤

I cannot control my emotions, the tears, the way his words touch me. My daughter and I have spent countless nights, up til dawn, listening to Dermot, watching him as he relays his stories, his experiences, his raw feelings to us through such heart-felt, honest lyrics. You, Dermot, have made us celebrate, forgive, heal, love, cry, feel, find strength, etc. Thank you! Thank you for the gifts you have given me and Heidi!!! We love you! #diehards #truedefinitionofgifted #

Happy 3 year anniversary to this masterpiece of a performance!!! Everything about this song is gut-wrenchingly beautiful! The lyrics The softness of the acoustic guitar vs. the power and emotion in his voice This song, this video, this performance has gotten me through a really tough time I watch it at least 10 times a day. It makes me feel sad but hopeful, all at the same time It makes me feel things deep in my soul that I didnt even know I needed to feel Thank you Dermot for sharing your art with us ~Sorrow won't be finding me no more~
