i always saw the characters dermot mulroney plays to be serious and smart and level headed or cool and edgy, but to see him such a down to earth and happy person really made my morning. i have adhd and I feel like I followed along with his storytelling perfectly. I don't think anybody would know what we were talking about if we sat at a table all day and spoke. but we would know.

As a young child, the first time that I saw Dermot in a movie, I felt that lightning bolt hit. He's always had star quality. He became an instant favorite of mine, and I have watched every show and movie that he's ever appeared in since then. If you haven't seen "The Thing Called Love" yet, then you should definitely check it out. You will fall in love with Dermot, if you haven't already. 😍 I felt the same way after seeing Michael in "Smallville". ⚡🤩 Although, I did already have a crush on him from watching him on "Zoe, Duncan, Jack, & Jane," his portrayal of "Lex Luthor" floored me. ❤🔥🤭🥰

I met Vendela, a supermodel, in the mid 90's. She walked into the room wearing a sweatshirt, leggings, and very little make-up. She turned and smiled at me, just a friendly smile, and it was like the clouds parted, like the sun blew into the room on a breeze to bounce her hair and make her eyes sparkle. She had an appointment at the hair salon inside my building and she came out while her color was setting. The lovely older lady that ran the shop brought me into the conversation and I couldn't help but love her because she was so kind and open. I imagine that must be what it's like to meet Julia Roberts or Nicole Kidman as you two did.

I was just sitting her thinking, I've never seen a really good interview with Dermot until this. Just superficial fluff pieces. Anyway, watching him and seeing no signs of some of my favorite roles he's done always amazes and fascinates me. I loved seeing him in Prodigal Son, Mozart in the Jungle and his role on Shameless. All very different and then here is the one guy who played them all and he's very much his own interesting person. I BET he has some great stories. Off now to look up the Drew Barrymore stuff, just to see the reactions, even if they don't get into what happened.

Having only seen him in promotional interviews I'd come to assume Dylan was generally reserved by nature, so seeing the real Dylan was a revelation. The broad gamut of expression and unguarded realness, the obvious warmth towards his friend. And the guy is so effortlessly funny! It's not a fair comparison but it reminded me a little of Robert Downey Junior's public personae without the performative shield. A dynamic personality, yet chill and relatable.
