@@N0tARapp3r oh shit u right… now I remember.. his contract was up and he decided to re-sign with them which was a big deal. And it was a lot of hype just as they were moving to bk. Then Joe Johnson signed. And I’m a Magic fan so I remember allll the talk about Dwight (before he fell off as well) wanting to sign there. But yeah bruh my brain totally forgot about him playing in jersey for that first year lol

One of the tops and baddest hesi crossovers ever. Dude was blinding! Really miss that Streetball vibe in the NBA. Now it's just all systematic and fundamentals.

So many great players in their prime got hit with career enders which sucks because I look at today's players who are getting hit by injuries every year and I just hate to think about what the future is looking for them. Most modern point guards are just undersized 2 guards playing at the point position. D-Will was unique in the sense that he was absolutely a traditional point guard, except when he needed or wanted to, he turned into a shooting guard. The only other player I can think of who had that ability (also with otherworldly athleticism which Williams didn't have) was Derrick Rose. Even Westbrook was more of a scoring guard than a point guard.

As a huge basketball and even bigger denver fan I have to disagree man. I see the movement style your referring to but williams was a much better passer than murray. Murray is everybit the scorer that dwill was but the pressure deron Williams (especially when he was prime in utah) put on a defense with his ability to disect a defense and find the open man made him a better player imo. And like I said this comes from a life long nugget fan.
