Long time no see! Here’s the newest and so far the longest episode of survivors! I hope you all like it, this episode is my love letter to my subscribers. Thank you eveyone ❤️

I love this particular infection au, since it's less focused on the infection itself and more on the effects it has on the people who survive. I especially like how it feels like they're slowly picking up the pieces and cleaning up after the initial collapse. But the damage has been done, ponies are dead, including one of the elements. Things will never be the same.

When overwhelmed sometimes all you can do is find a routine and stick to it... Glad Tank is still alive! (Also that shot with Tank and Zecora was really cute) I feel like the writing here is coming from a personal place for you. It must be such an odd time to be a creator/artist: There's more competition than ever thanks to the internet which can make some feel inadequate since it's hard not to compare yourself to others sometimes. Then we have AI creeping into creative spaces and turning things into a standardized, soulless mess, and so many are struggling living paycheck to paycheck that it may feel like creative works don't matter. Yet, the very thing that makes us human is being able to tell our stories, craft new worlds with nothing but our own creativity. No matter how bleak the world is, the stories still matter because it's like sharing a little piece of you and your joys and sorrows with everyone else- it's not just escapism. As Tolkien put it: "Why should a man be scorned, if, finding himself in prison, he tries to get out and go home? Or if, when he cannot do so, he thinks and talks about other topics than jailers and prison-walls?"

This is so so good. The characters feel alive, I love A.K.'s growth and finding new drive in such a dreadful situation. Your focus on the tragedies and triumphs of the characters really ground us in your Equestria. It's a beautiful story about finding a fragile hope and a wonderful commentary about how the creative process doesn't just effect the reader, but the author as well. ❤

There’s one thing that brothers me with crossbows and bows in zombie apocalypse movies they never take the arrow out of the infected once killed. I just despise that because I’m a crossbow owner and if the tip is still in the arrow you can just clean it and use it again. Instead of leaving it in the infected. That’s legit the whole point I brought a crossbow, silent but deadly and reusable anmo by chance great for hunting, which is also great for these events.

Maybe because they're afraid of accidentally getting infected. If ammo supply is not an issue, I personally would also just leave it, to be on the safe side.

@@Secret_Moon Good point. You could be able to have armor and heavy clothing; depending on what there bite force scale is. You’ll have nothing to worry about and you can pretty much not get bitten. While collecting arrows in case you do have a low supply in the apocalypse.

@@BirdClip_StudiosOfficals. My point is actually about the arrows getting contaminated with zombie pathogen. Arrows are sharp, and if not careful you may cut yourself with them, especially while you're cleaning them, and getting yourself infected. Or you may mindlessly touch your eyes after handling them. We learned that lesson during the pandemic. Some pathogens, such as prions, are pretty difficult to disinfect, and if the zombie pathogen is of this type, even boiling them in water is not enough. With the risk that high, I wouldn't want to touch them if I can help it.

Okay- SUPER fascinating commentary on how creatives'/artists' work have a HUGE impact in the world, even if it doesn't seem useful in the practical sense. Perhaps it's just me reading into things, but I saw a bit of you in AK Yearling here. I see some of myself in her as well. I've.. questioned and scrutinized my personal value as an artist many times, and continue to do so, but- Just as Ditzy reminded AK about the worth of her literature, you've reminded me about the worth of my digital illustrations, even with our little planet Earth growing more hysteric as the years pass. The depiction of Derpy is so endearing! (Littleshy's gonna have a FIELD DAY with this...) Your continual commitment to using almost exclusively canon characters is so commendable. It makes every frame not only a work of art, but worldbuilding! I really enjoy this story and all the love you put into it. It's incredible how you can do everything in these episodes-- the art, the voice acting, the editing.. it's very impressive! I'm always happy to see a new episode. I just hope you also keep enjoying making it and you don't burn yourself out :] take your time! As an artist who's been some degree of burntout for a while now, I can tell you that letting yourself take time off when you can feel the pressure mounting does wonders. Well they pretty much live in the middle of nowhere, so chances are they’re alive. It would be pretty hard for any infected to get to them, and they’re pretty combat trained if any did, so they could probably take them down easily.
