You got it! it might seem intimidating at first but as long as you keep practicing you can get really good with it. try practicing on your free time 120x120 projects. That's honestly how I learned.

Hi, I have never used Microvellum before. Many years ago I used a program called Ashlar Vellum and it was very similar to Turbo Cad for drawing 2D and 3D. 2020 is industry specific because you import specific cabinet manufacturers into the program. This way when you do a 3D rendering it looks very similar to the final product.

Normally the bottom of the upper cabinets are set at 54” off the floor. Generally you’re microwave should not drop below the cabinets. Check the manufacturer book for installation because it cannot be to far above the cabinet line as well depending upon the CFM from the blower.

I need help! i just purchased 20/20 and my main issues are when i draw a wall i have to take time to make sure the wall is straight. Does it not just default to a straight wall? also when i place a cabinet i have to go slow and butt the cabinets to the walls, the cabinets are moving over the wall and not stopping when i drag it to the wall. Takes way to much time slowing trying to place the cabinets

@@Tyler-sk2rm there are help videos in 20/20 if you have support. If you just purchased than you should have support. Sounds like you have to set some parameters in the settings. I don’t have any of the issues you mentioned.

The company is 20/20 Technologies. The software is 20/20 Design. You would have to purchase from them, they are a Canadian company and to my knowledge they are the only ones who can sell it. The software requires a USB security device as well.

Any large monitor is good. I use a 24” and have no issues. You should have a good graphics card. With a good amount of memory. When drawing in 2d you will not need it but in 3D you definitely will. You can look up their requirements on specs.

Is this the newest version of 20/20? I’m trying to get back into kitchen design. I haven’t used the program since 2008. The place I interviewed at is worried it’s been to long since I used it and from watching the video it looks super similar maybe easier.

This is version 11. 20/20 has made it a little easier over the years. Under the support license they offer video tutorials.

They do have stock catalogs within the program that you can use. If you are selling cabinets all the manufacturers give you their catalogs as long as the make it for 20/20.

Good morning! I've been working with Sketchup for all of my renderings. This is by far amazing. I understand the sizes and placement of cabinets what I want to work on is the backsplash and paint colors. Does this software have those options? I also know about the lighting for the mood enhancement, would you say that's easy to learn?

It does some room design for decorating options however there are much better programs for that. I have used Chief Architect and the design options were much better. The only problem with CA is the cabinet catalogs are not made for all cabinet manufacturers.

Not all manufacturers provide a catalog for 20/20. 20/20 does have a generic catalog but it’s much easier to use one provided by the manufacturer.

Yes, I also run it on my laptop. You have to have a good graphics card.

I am still new to this program. How would you draw in a wall that is a half wall that goes to the basement with a ceiling that is the bottom of a set of stairs going up?

I’m not exactly sure of what you’re asking. To draw a half wall, just draw the wall then edit the height. On version 11 which is what I’m showing, you cannot add multiple floors with stair. Hope this helps.

It’s not a course, it software. The company offers training videos but you have to buy the software and sign up for the support program.

I’m not sure, I don’t know what’s parallel is. 20/20 is designed for a pc and requires a usb security thumb drive. What videos are you looking to see?

You may have accidentally closed it. You should be able to get them back with the buttons on top. Then resize them to fit.

I'm not sure if there are copies but all the torrent versions don't really work anymore because they made 2020 a subscription program and each program can vary from 1600-3400 I believe. Dont quote me on that but after the first year its around $800 a year. It all depends on the subscription you pick.

UREP is universal refrigerator end panel. It is used to create a space to slide refrigerator in so you don’t see the side of the appliance.
