Seau was a complete freak of nature, the strength of a DL, the speed and agility of a safety, and absolutely loved to blow guys up in the A-gap. I remember him hitting Leonard Russell in the A-gap in ‘94, absolutely crushed him. It would be a great matchup, but while Seau took on guys like Okoye, Word, Bettis, Henry has never seen a LB like Seau. 20 years at inside LB? That’s a freak.

Seau all day. Although considered an all-time great he is tremendously underrated. It is my position that if the Chargers teams were better throughout the 1990s he would be seen as better than Ray Lewis. Those Baltimore teams were stacked and the Goose and Adams kept Lewis pretty clean, ie: free to make the tackles versus stacking, shedding and then making the tackle as Seau often had to do.

Junior Seau hands down. This is not a "solid matchup" - it is not even close. Henry had one great season and two good seasons and wasnt exactly know as a disciplined player to stay in shape. Seau on the other hand had a legendary work ethic on par with Sweetness and Jerry Rice. The career highlights, the longevity, the leadership...this isnt even close.
