UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis tells Brett Okamoto that Daniel Cormier went back to this “Olympic days” in their title fight headlining UFC 230 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. From my best knowledge tho and if I'm 6'3 with that huge reach advantage like Derrick Lewis then I'm just keeping him on the end of my punches. Every time he gets near my range I'm letting him catch a straight or jab to keep him away. Cant let him get comfortable enough to shoot for the takedown, and Lewis started to do a better job of that in the second round before Cormier got the leg and took him down again.
