Really should have been away at the end of last season, a brave decision to appoint him as he had never managed before and was totally out of his depth, tried his best but it just wasn’t good enough, two very simple points that should have been fixed on the training ground among many others,the failure to clear our lines from our own throw ins nearly cost a goal in the final stages of the first half against Shels and did cost us the game in the second half when after a passage of play they were awarded a free kick after we lost possession again from our throw in..Today as soon as Drogheda took the free kick nobody actually defended it they all ran towards the goal truly shocking. When I renew my season ticket it will be out of allegiance to the club, was there when there were about 300 at the Brandywell during the time Peter Hutton was still playing,in the last two seasons there have been little more than a handful of games that were entertaining
