E çuditshme është se aty hasesh me vështirësi të mëdha komunikative edhe pse je në tokë shpiptare. Banoret njohin të dyja gjuhet, por shqipen e refuzojnë. Megjithatë, aty ka ende kode komunikimi. Ka besim dhe banorët flasin me argumente të jetesës që ata bëjnë. llnisa Agolli do të na i rrëfejë të gjitha pa përjashtuar koloritin, sokakët dhe atë çka mund të vizitojmë në fshatin më të madh të Dropullit.

Une njoh nje familje bullgaro-maqedon me origjine nga fshatrat e Prespes - kryefamiljari kishte nje post te larte ne partine e punes dhe fliste mire shqip - ata kurre nuk u pane te festonin pashket apo krishtlindjet megjithese e ema plake bente kryqin sa here trembej deri sa ta ndalonte nipi (bashkemoshatari im) - pas renies se komunizmit ky kryetari i larte i partise u perpoq te merrte status te persekutuari nga rregjimi - ndoshta dhe e mori - ngaqe ishte i pashkolle dhe pa profesion (pervec komunist asgje tjeter nuk dinte te bente) - pas 1992 ne fillim ai gjeti ca lidhje ne FYROMaqedoni ku dergoi nje femije ne universitet me burse nga Shkupi; me pas e lane shtetesine maqedone per ate bullgare kur Bullgaria hyri ne BE, dhe nje femije tjeter e dergoi ne Sofie me burse; ata te gjithe flasin bullgarisht (dhe kur ua do interesi ndryshojne dhe thone jemi maqedon)... te kthehemi pas te minoritaret e Dervicanit - ata kane cdo te drejte te flasin greqisht dhe mund t'i nxirrnin gjuhen kesaj gazetares se pa pergatitur profesionalisht. Gazetatja me paturpesi te madhe jo vetem profesionale por edhe njerezore i thote asaj te moshuares - greqia - greqia ti, pse nuk shkon ne Greqi. Turp per gazetaren, nuk mund t'i thote ajo asaj te moshuare - pse nuk iken ne Greqi - mos do t'i marre doren plaka gazetares se ku do te jetoje! It was the Greeks that saved the people of North Epirus from German and Italian occupation while the government collaborated with the fascist governments. These people owe their survival to the greek army who died in the mountains of Albania. The region has always had a greek population something the mafia lead government fails to acknowledge and therefore be the reason why Albania will never join the EU. You should all respect Greece for feeding your kids who now make up nearly 1 million of the population. Dont believe everything your government says.

@Raigou They have plenty of reasons to complain.A few years ago a man was killed for speaking greek in his own store by albanians in one of the regions were pretty much everyone speaks greek. Since then there have been countless incidents of violence against the greek minority such as vandalism of road signs and churches. Even the government destroyed an orthodox church last year, something not even dictator Enver Hoxha had done. If this is not discrimination then I dont know what is As I said the state tv goes through government first before it comes to you, its a device to make you believe what they want. They give you fake reasons to justify their cruel actions. Me myself, I have origins from Himare, a region with a distinct greek presence and everyone i know speaks albanian. And i do have reasons to complain. These people are not representative of the whole greek minority and give it a bad image. But I guess when they are surrounded by growing Islamic Fundamentalists, backed by ISIS, it is the necessary thing to do. As for the Albanians in Greece, I have never seen anyone experience discrimination what so ever, in fact many are proud of their origins which they should and continue to speak their language publically, less so now after going to greek school etc. The Arvanites minority in Greece are idolised by many for their heroism in the Greek war of independence and many identify as Greek orthodox and not albanian. Many other minorities such as Turkish and Bulgarian also enjoy good lives with many allowed to have their own schools and mosques. The only minority Greece has punished was the Chams, who collaborated with the fascists in favour of getting more territory from Greece. If you dont believe me you can look it up on wiki which is much more reliable than what these plebs have read at school. As I said all these incidents are obscured by your government and i dont expect you to recognise the propaganda. Not much has changed in albania since the communist era.

@Raigou I guess you purposely ignored the fact about a man being killed for speaking greek, and the vandalism of places of worship. As for the church, it is unheard of destroying something as sacred such as the house of God because it was built there 'illegaly', if they lived on the mentality of destroying churches and monuments purely for those reasons then why not destroy all monument sites such as in Butrini that were built there illegally. The justification of destroying something to rebuilt it is not good enough, that church was a symbol of the survival of orthodoxy during the communist period. Thats unfortunate to hear, when I went to school there around 80% of the class was Albanian, I had both albanian and greek friends and no one experienced any racism, now many have degrees and work at top jobs so i dont personally see any discrimination. Actually that region is and will always be Greek land, why do you think city names such as Gjirokaster ( Argyrokastro) , Sarande ( Agie Saranda), Himare ( Chimera) are all of Greek origin. There used to be an autonomous north epirot state and later on it used to be part of Greece, so i do think that Greece has the right to have a say when its peoples rights are breached. The time will come where the government will have to give full autonomy to the region if they want to join the EU. How are they supposed to mind their own business when they are surrounded by vultures such as Turkey and Albania. One laying claims to the Aegean and one on Corfu and Epirus. Ironic when you think Albania has only existed for 100 years and didnt have their own alphabet until then?. The comments below shocked me. Claiming that all of Greeks are descendants of Albanians who existed way before the ancient Greeks, quite funny to read actually when its coming from people that didnt even finish primary school. Albanian nationalism and Shqiperi e madhe is just bollocks. Your own flag is made of the Byzantine eagle for crying out loud. Claiming the history of a country as great as Greece is very annoying when its all you have left after years of struggle and fighting for it.
