I like useing these pencils on my OOAK art dolls. Good for when I want a subtle shimmer to the fine line details to give them a little extra something special where mica or glitter would be too overpowering. Can't go wrong with Derwent Watercolor Pencils, an worth the money.~

I bought the Metallic pencil set I loved the colors but you do not have basic colors .I did a picture and added some water colors to it . It is great to have the different bright colors

Personally I didn't notice a whole lot of "metallic" with them, but some of the pencils are just so vibrant. As a watercolor pencil they are ok, but as a metallic not so much.
