The sword liner reminds me of the Princeton Neptune dagger that I have for watercolor. Very nice brushes Kerry thanks for the review. I'll consider those brushes in the future. I had inspiration while watching your video for practicing calligraphy with the sword liner.

Hi there my friend I hope you’re keeping well. I don’t normally use ‘technique’ brushes, as I can achieve the same results with standard rounds, flats and filberts. However Derwent sent me this set and I was pleasantly surprised by them ☺️ Look forward to seeing your ‘sword liner calligraphy’ results… no pressure lol xXx

Back to working on the Clown in acrylics from the recommendations you gave me on MeWe...then off to the calligraphy and other springtime projects. 😍

Thanks so much for sharing this informational video of these 6 great texture brushes. I just realized that I could use the ink tense blocks the way you are showing with the brushes. 😂 I’ve only seen most folks using them like crayons 🖍️ drawing with holding them in your hand. Definitely will be trying that out. 🥰 Have a wonderful weekend!

I saw one of your airbrush videos, I didn't even know that was a thing! With my Inktense blocks, I broke off a piece of each one and put them in empty half-pans. To use like a watercolor set! 😊 ​@@kerrynewell-wildlifeartist

I didn’t know if I were going to be able to run the Inktense pigments through my airbrush, so it was a bit of an experiment lol. So glad I tried.
