So today I took the Melik to the range to compare directly to a real Beretta 92FS, my experience with both firearms was great and I shot them well. That being said the trigger on the Melik does not feel as good compared to the Beretta, its not a huge difference but its something to take note of if you really like good triggers, both guns were reliable I shot 115 grain Magtec 9mm and a total of 50 rounds per gun out of Mec-Gar 18 round magazines (I know its not a lot but I'm not made of money). The sights on both guns are largely the same except the Melik has a orange front sight post to the Berettas white front post. Overall my experience with the Melik compared to the Beretta was very positive especially since the Melik is much cheaper than a 92FS at MSRP. Now parts compatibility is complicated some things work others dont. Here is what I know for sure works in the Melik: magazines, guide rod, guide rod spring, barrel and locking block assembly. What I know doesn't work: safety lever. Anything else, your guess is as good as mine.

Good quick little presentation right to the point. I just ordered one of those off of Bud's gun shop for $280 delivered 😮. Should have it in my hand in about a week. I'm a big fan of the Turkish firearms so I know this is going to be a winner we'll call it a sleeper right now. All the negatives that you brought up were basically personal preference that can be overcome with training as you pointed out. You're probably more into the more modern striker fired pistols, at least that's what I'm getting from your take on it. BTW the open slide design is actually a really good thing especially on a service combat pistol because you'll never get a stovepipe, seriously enhances reliability and this literally is one if not the most reliable proven combat pistol design in the world. I've owned M9's and 92 FS for over 30 years love to have another one but don't see the value of shelling out that kind of coin especially when high-quality exact clones like these are around. Literally if you blindfolded someone and handed them they wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Or one better yet if you change the markings on the slide you wouldn't know either. Anyway good job stay safe.

That price is crazy. You could buy two of these or one Beretta, so that's exactly what I did, lol. No kidding, I grabbed a few on GB for $280 all in, transfer and everything. After close inspection, these damn things are nice!! They did come caked in oil, that's good, so when cleaned up I didn't see any suspect parts or pitting/compromised metal. ONE thing, and maybe you can answer this, the barrel does have just a very slight bit of wiggle, how about yours? maybe it's suppose to. I am first time Beretta (clone) owner although have shot the 96A1 quite a bit, and loved it.
