Dans cet épisode, je reçois Jérôme Vila, co-fondateur de la startup MaiaSpace. Passé par le CNES, ArianeGroup et à l'initiative du programme
#ArianeWorks, Jérôme a passé de nombreuses années dans le domaine des lanceurs européens. D'abord sur #Ariane puis sur les projet futurs: #Themis, #Prometheus il a aujourd'hui fondé #MaiaSpace qui a pour ambition de lancer les premières fusées avec 1er étage réutilisable depuis le sol européen !

Je comprends pas qu'elles innovations est sensé apporter Maïaspace, alors que les briques technos sont 100% amenées par ArianeGroup avec Prometheus et Themis??

They are a startup to compete in microlauncher market with Arianegroup technology.

@@hafizuddinmohdlowhim8426 no they are not. The main cto is from ariane group and participated in themis project. And as i said they will use ariane group tech Themis and prometheus. And they wont compete with ariane group because ariane group do not have micro launcher. They have small launcher with vega and heavy mauncher with ariane. Maiaspace will be de facto the micro launcher of ariane group in pratice but within a startup independent for commercial contracts and quite independnet for the arcitecture around common blocks of prometheus and such. Arianegroup is only a commercial shell when technical parts are handled by cnes and build by airbus and others.

@@hafizuddinmohdlowhim8426 to be precise it is ariane es0ace the commercial part of ariane group. Ariane group build the launcher with several sub contractors. Airbus is 50% owner Ariane group as before it was called airbus safran launchers. Airbus still build elements of the launcher in contract with arianegroup. And maiaspace is 100% part of ariane group so not concurrentprovider at all. Une filiale. Subsidiary company Affiliate

@@sebpatu anyway Maiaspace is a startup that intends to compete in microlaunchers market. They will get a head start among others because they have access technology of ArianeGroup. Their launch vehicle will be the booster for the bigger launch vehicle of ArianeGroup. That’s it.
