I feel like Morgie could have been a good set up for the ending and for potential appearances in the future to the franchise. Since wasn't frozen for detention, could have caused some chaos for continuing on Uiana's plan by finding a way of having Ella accidentally make the dessert for Bridget. And possibly also sneaking off into the future with Red and Chloe, since he is considerably a new Descendant that we don't know too well and not a original villain like Hook, Hades, ect. But finding way from going from Evil to Good as franchise goes on. But just my thoughts through..

I think they made Uliana and Morgie’s characters kinda random and disconnected from the traditional villain canon for a reason. My theory is that Bridget accidentally kills Uliana after the prank (maybe she doesn’t turn into a hag but instead turns into a literal horrifying monster that can actually hurt people) and Morgie either is collateral damage or he shows up in the future somehow
