Fender P-bass & Ampeg amp. That's what both Tony & Karl use. I have heard that Karl uses flats but I have no real verification.

Karl doesn't downstroke, that being said he doesn't use a pick he alternates between middle and index finger. I could of done it like that but I chose a pick cause it has more punch to it.

@@GuitarTabLab On the original album version it's not Karl (joined the band 5 years later), but Tony Lombardo who used a pick and played alternate picking just like you did , so you played it as it was meant to be played :). In live performances, Karl plays it fingerstyle like he always does and adds a lot of fills
