This interview covers all kinds of topics from their song "Shameless Halo" off the new record Hypercaffium Spazzinate (on Epitaph Records), farts, what they would do if offered a million dollars to do a Starbucks commecial, and much more. Elliot you look like the cartoon version of Milo, no offense. There's a kid I knew that had the Milo look with the black framed glasses. I had to show him the logo and play him "I'm Not A Punk", my favorite Descendents song. He got a kick out of it but he's not a punk or metalhead. It's awesome you're into punk and metal at such an early age. I was into U2 and REM at your age (still am) but Aerosmith and Guns N' Roses weren't far behind. Then I had a friend introduce me into the heavier stuff: Maiden, Metallica, Sabbath, etc. Discovering The Ramones got me into punk, though. Sex Pistols, Circle Jerks, Misfits, and The Descendents, of course. That's what made me put my own band together and give it a go for a few years. We didn't make it past the backyard party phase but we had fun. Can't wait to see and hear more from you, kid!
