Excellent cover. The synth bass is kind of funny, but the only real criticism I might have is that you left out the pick slide during the chorus. I'm a serious hardcore Q2 fan and I love the music, so that's just the nitpicky purist in me. I will say that the guitar work is fantastic, and other than the aforementioned pick slide, you nailed the chorus. Well done, sir.

I also love this track but because I am naturally nitpicky I can't ignore that the synth in the beginning is missing a lot of rhythm and extra bits that the original had, and the... I think it's call the melody guitar? The guitar that sets that bass rhythm as the rest of the song picks up from where the synth leaves is also missing a variation. It's a cool cover to be sure, but it sounds a bit flat and off (to me) when even the smallest thing is changed or removed.

this is VERY close. hitting the right notes and hooks would perfect this. But honestly, I would actually use this to replace the original tracks. This is still really good and probably the closest cover to the original song which is excellent. Good work and GREAT job on the synths!
