If I am right the tunnel you are walking down at the 22 min mark is the lower adit that used to exit near the river, it is still there but is now only about 12" x 82 concrete overflow where the water drains out and its full of ochre.

All the work in this mine to stabilise was done by Roy Fellows over many years.

Those bits of wood you found floating, I think they are from a BBC filming crew, recently a couple of KZbin explorers were filmed by the BBC, and they are based in Mid Wales, I suspect it was something to do with cabling for lights. I think the ones in the water were dropped before they were used, or its something Roy Fellows is doing.
