“Hi there, my gorgeous teacher!! Just watched your video on U.S. politics terms, and I have to say, I’m impressed. You nailed those tricky terms-‘narcissist,’ ‘fascist,’ ‘authoritarian’-explaining them so clearly and with just the right touch of insight. It’s amazing how you break down complex words and make them easy to understand. Looking forward to more of your lessons and perspective on these topics... “Ah, I see the bun is back😮🤩! I’d like to think my comments might’ve inspired the return of that fabulous top knot-it suits you perfectly! Always a pleasure to see you bring that style and brighten up the lesson. Thanks for keeping us both educated and entertained. Good night from my side, as I’m off to enjoy a great musical show now. Cheers!”❤ Hugs.xoxoxo Gams ❤️

Hi again Amy. I truly believe your contents deserve millions of subscribers and millions of views. But unfortunately most people are so shallow and ignorant that they go and follow some non-native American so-called English teachers that can't even speak English correctly themselves cuase they're some Russians or Ukrainian or from other countries. Your contents are so educative and informative. I don't know how to thank you enough. Keep up the awsome work. Lots of love Sam

Up until now, I’ve always watched your new videos as soon as you upload them, but this time, I was scared to watch it right away. The reason is that I felt like you might teach us negative English expression about Trump. I really like the way you teach English and your kind way of speaking, but views on Trump are completely opposite to mine and are always negative, right? I just watched this video today for the first time and it turned out to be different from what I expected. This video felt like you toned down your dislike for Trump quite a bit. A while back, you covered political topics on this channel, and that time, your content was neither right-leaning nor left-leaning, it was very fair. I remember commenting on how great that fairness was. But recently you’ve been making videos that seem to show you as a Trump-hater, which has been hard for me to watch. I’m Japanese and I don’t have voting rights over there but I support Trump. Having someone like Trump as U.S. president is important because his policies impact us in Japan too. I agree with most of Trumps policies though I don’t particularly like his personality. The way he talks can come off as arrogant and like he’s looking down on people. But I don’t think he looks down on people because of race or religion, he does it based on ability and competence mostly imho. Trump-haters say he’s a criminal but I can name many U.S. presidents in history who have done far worse things than him. And yet, none of them faced impeachment. To me, using the justice system to suppress political rivals is what fascism really looks like. Trump made a lot of mistakes during his previous term. But this time, I’m hoping that people like RFK Jr. who used to be Democrats will help balance out his flaws. I know Trump wouldn’t go easy on Japan economically but I also know he would go hard on corrupted system. Japan, like America, has a lot of corrupted politicians ,corporations, and media. I really hope America can clean up its system so that Japan , which often follows Americas lead, can do the same. Sorry for the long comment. I hope for a world without war, where everyone can live peacefully together.

Farhad! It’s so great to hear from you! I actually was thinking of you the other day because I will teach writing for grad students next semester! How have you been? 😄

@YourFavoriteEnglishTeacher That's so heartwarming that you still think about me. I'm not religious, but sometimes that happens to me too-whenever I think about someone, I soon meet them or hear some news about them. I'm working at the university, but I'm going to graduate this semester, so I'm looking for a job. I can’t believe it’s been two years since I first found you on KZbin. Time in the US is passing way faster than in Iran! 😂
