That was incredible in so many ways. Inspirational would be an understatement. The innate sense in which you accept, embrace, live and breathe the challenge of mastering these waves...I am in awe of. Coming up for air after heavy beatdown at Shippies fists raised (still a grom ffs), complemented by closing shot/wave and your thoughts...is a gift to mankind. Kinda funny and amazing you had to close your eyes and "ride blind" for the moment you achieved this self-imposed yet unavoidable challenge. Well done mate. Back again to watch that mesmerizing slow motion wave at 02:16 to 02:21 - I think I'm seeing for the first time in my life how vortices form right about mid-face of the tube - one of them even appears to fully emerge into the tube but standing upright like a tornado at 02:21. Then of course that drop at 02:31 - I'd like to see how he positioned himself to catch that and paddling for it
