Desert Botanical Garden Community Garden

Third graders from V.H. Lassen Academy of Science & Nutrition learned how to transplant eggplants at Desert Botanical Garden's Community Garden at Spaces of Opportunity. They also measured soil temperatures in different areas of the garden and learned how some plants grow better when it’s colder and some grow better when it’s warmer.
