In Wildlands I got monetarily distracted by a missile lock-on warning, and flew a helicopter into the only palm tree for miles around that was tall enough to crash into. I was humiliated. Maxed out and still suppressed, it will do about 50 damage. Note that a suppressed Vector does about 16 damage. I like to whack tangoes as hard as possible, as I play with a controller, and don't have the precision [ or talent ] that WillyB has for getting persistent head shots.

there can be a silencer on a desert eagle but it has to be a big one to actually function. or having sub-sonic ammo.

You have to use subsonic ammo for a silencer to be affective, otherwise you will have the sonic bang from the bullet it self. Just saying..

This is by far my favorite pistol in the game, it's got the best sight so far just wish it wasn't cloudy.

When using the Desert Eagle against the big helicopters, the weak spot is the front rotors of the two engines on top. A good direct hit flashes yellow. Usually about 5-8 good shots will do it. I wish the sight could be changed. The only way to use that gun is to shoot from the hip. The game is more fun and challenging when you use only a pistol. Great video as always.

Hell yeah you can suppress a deagle, you can suppress a shotgun, you can't suppress revolvers which is a shame... you can still suppress supersonic rounds that have higher 'power'/range but they're friends will hear the whizz. Obviously bolt actions are the quietest (& lever actions), they're are really fun 300blk bolt action 'pistols' which are practically silent but the drop on them is unusable. Then there's the Welrod/B&T which is also a bolt action pistol (but a weird one with a twist & pull 'bolt' in the 'butt' of the pistol, where the hammer would be). Awesome vids dude, loving Dying Light 2!

You have to get a custom made compensator and barrel for a desert eagle wit subsonic ammo for a functional suppressor for it

Video games display supressor weird. Yes you can get a suppressor for a desert eagle. You can really find a suppressor for about anything really. But the difference between subsonic and supersonic ammunition is where the realism stops. The supressor o kt makes the bang quiet. Fast bullets break the sound barrier going down range which is loud unless you buy subsonic rounds.

The frame/slide of the Desert Eagle isn't threaded nor can it be machined to be threaded, so it's a challenge to suppress. However, it's not impossible, and I know of people with the $$$ to pay an experienced gunsmith to align and weld a threaded adapter. The Desert Eagle is gas operated, so modifications to the gas system would need to be adjusted in order for the gun to function properly with the added back pressure. It's not simple by any means but there's always someone willing to pay and someone eager to make the impossible, possible.

Btw you got me into this game from all the videos you posted a couple years ago, so thank you! I'm on Disability and had to wait for the price to come down so I could afford it, but it was worth the wait! I can say now that I am as good as you are in this game! I might be a tad bit better than you cuz my driving & flying is leaps and bounds better than yours, lol. Keep 'em comin'!!

Yes you can fit a suppressor on a desert eagle, but it’s not a .50 cal pistol. Like a lot of things in GRB, the type of ammunition is wrong, a desert eagle is .50 AE. As to whether or not it could go through face armor, I’d say yes and no, just depends. If you want some entertaining videos, search for Garandthumb and Demolition Ranch on KZbin.
