Hi Russ, the summer videos series was really cool. We just started a new adventure, we sailed our new boat, a 2020 Corsair 880 Sport Trimaran from our condo in Key Largo, Florida to West Pal Beach and crossed over to the Bahamas from there. It's only 57 miles from West Palm to West End Bahamas. With the current from the Gulf Stream and a 20 mph west wind, we were able to cover the 57 miles in 3.25 hours and averaging 16.2 knots. The Corsairs are known for their insane speeds. We will probably stay in the Bahamas until July of 2022......

You mentioned the population as about 3000. I was a teenager in the 60's and there were only about 200-300 UNTIL winter then it doubled or tripled. Hey could you some times mention the plant life besides the cactus, such as the Iron wood, Mesquite, Salt Cedar etc. I lived in AZ from 1960-1966, then I went to WA and now live in the great North Land of AK. I DO miss AZ and Rockhounding.

Good to see you back. The Herb's Hardware building had a Sale Pending sign hanging from the For Sale sign the beginning of the summer. Looks like the deal fell through. Rice Ranch north and south had a For Sale sign up the end of spring. The LaMesa RV lot also had a For Sale sign hanging from the fence at the end of spring but I did not see it in the video. I was told by folks that work there they were not coming back. Maybe they had a change of mind. I hope so, and they bring back the free pancakes!
