Michael bay's logic its pretty much not logic at all, but in this case it may happen... At higher speeds and higher altitudes a fall into water is just like hitting concrete, that would cause the bus gas tank to compress rapidly which in combination with some other factors (O2 + fuel + some spark produced by the rapid friction of two or more metal parts of the bus) would definitely made the gas tank to explode like that.

What purpose would they have on gameplay? I think they would have say 2 shots ammo limit (uses heavy ammo or rockets) and if you hit someone with it, it burns them for 5 damage a second, and last for 10 seconds. Of course the other tactic would be to alert the enemy.

Lewis Beasley Do you realize how op that gun would be? There’s no way Fortnite would allow it. Besides, you’d have to be OUT of the battle bus, somewhere on the island, AND have been lucky enough to find the Flare Gun to shoot it down before it left the island. Even if you’re lucky enough to do so, at least some people dropped from it before you could successfully destroy the battle bus. Sure, you’ll get a good amount of kills, but it isn’t going to give you an immediate win.
