It's so nice to see all this again. I went on a trip to Siwa a year ago and saw all these places too. So pretty! I spent a night in the Great Sand Sea and that was the most amazing outdoor trip I ever had. What else did I enjoy in Siwa? The girls at the Amun Temple make really nice henna-designs, if you like to try.

Thank you! I actually already went to Amun Temple. I spoke with the girls for a while and actually gave them some money, but I didn't want any henna. They were sweet though, we had fun chatting ❤️

No it is not. And nobody was offering something significantly lower. It gets tiring to hear "you paid too much!" from people. I almost always bargain for a fair price, but the few times I pay more for something, I am immediately told "too much!" Like, what do you want me to do? Argue with them? I tried to bargain but this was the going rate that every seller was giving me. So what should I do? Just not go? Don't pay the money and not make the video? Sometimes, you just have to pay.
@khaledismail70825 күн бұрын
@Gventures first I'm really sorry if my comment makes you frustrated I didn't ment that at all I'm just care about you as one of the few people making a great content by showing the beauty of our Egypt what you are doing is mush appreciated and don't you think ever to stop making videos ❤
@Gventures5 күн бұрын
@@khaledismail7082 Yeah I just get tired of hearing "you paid too much" every time I MAY have paid too much. Because I make 2-3 videos a week and am usually always paying or buying something in my videos, and most of the time nobody says anything, because i am paying fair prices. But the moment i do spend more than I maybe should (and am probably aware of it), I immediately get told "too much!" I just don't see the purpose of the comments, because 1st, I probably already know if I paid too much, but secondly, if I still paid that much, there is probably a reason. Like they were not willing to give me a lower price. So when someone tells me I paid too much, I would love to hear the alternative, what is the solution. The price has already been paid and the video recorded. And this desert tour is not something you or I take every day, so really, how do you know what the going rate for it is. And as an Egyptian, I hope you are aware there are Egyptian and foreign prices for almost everything. I usually get Egyptian prices because I demand it, try to speak Arabic, live here, etc. But that doesn't mean I always do, and there isn't much to be done about that when it happens.

What a nice day in the desert!! The next time you could go by camel😅 if there are tours available... This is so relaxing with the (mostly) calm and friendly animals! I loved these tours in Morocco and Thar desert in India.❤ Thanks for the really super video with the very impressive dunes!!!
@Gventures5 күн бұрын
Thanks Corinna! But I actually don't like riding the animals. Not only because I am allergic to them, but since many animals are mistreated in this field (not just in Egypt but around the world), I prefer to just take tours like the one in this video. I took a camel into the Thar Desert in India once as well, and that was the first and last camel ride I'll ever take 😅 Because of the rings through his nose and the dried blood also he looked malnourished. Maybe you've been lucky to find some animals that are not having a tough life, but the majority of them in this sector are, so I just avoid it altogether. Not trying to be a downer, just stating my reasons as to why I don't take camel / other animal rides. But I highly recommend this desert safari, it's adrenaline inducing and such a beautiful way to watch the sunset
@CorinnaBenecke5 күн бұрын
@Gventures Yes, you are completely right. I noticed the bad condition of some camels and horses too, for example at the pyramids... I think the two times I went with camels I was lucky because the animals were in a good condition and were treated well. But the next time in the desert I will perhaps try a jeep tour. The only thing is the motor noice which I don't like so much in the quiet desert. Best wishes from dark and rainy Germany!!

When booking excursion trips, where do you typically purchase the service? Do you book through a hotel, TripAdvisor, the vendor's website, or another reliable platform? What is the best way to find the best price for excursions in Egypt? Do you always need to book in advance, or are there options for same-day purchases?
@Gventures5 күн бұрын
Most of the time I don't do that much research, but I do typically see what there is to do in an area just so I have an idea before I go. But I don't normally book anything online or in advance, I just ask about excursions once I arrive to a place (I usually ask my hotel or hostel about it, but also then check some nearby shops or speak to a few other vendors as well). Then I compare the prices. I might look up prices online very briefly just to make sure nothing in cheaper, but usually it's always a better cost in-person. When it comes to excursions, it of course depends on what kind of excursion it is. I like to ask at least a day before, because you never know at what times they go, if there is availability, etc.
