LOL it comes naturally - these bikes are so cool!

Crazy how those fancy new shocks didn't end up fitting on your wife's bike...but will probably fit perfectly on your bike. : ) "I really wanted those to work on the cub, honey, but at least we can still use them on another bike. Mine." Joking aide, I think it's great you two are both riding the Biltwell this year. It's been on my bucket list since I got into vintage bikes abut 5 few years ago.

Lightweight, simple, easy to work on - the ideal motorcycle. Looks like a super-fun bike, nice work. My first bike had a Hodaka engine in a cut-down Triumph Cub frame. We called it the Hodumph. If was built by Frank Danielson, the guy who built the first Supercross tracks at the L.A. Colosseum.

Always love your vids and look forward to a new one coming out every week or so. Also, great music in this one, a superb rendition of "Wade In The Water". Looking forward to seeing you and your wife competing in the Biltwell 100 next month. Keep 'em coming!

I put that same seat on my T100. it fits really well... looks great and is pretty comfortable. I went with Girling shocks which are pretty good although I haven't tested it on anything like the Bitwell! Is your Mrs (we need to know her name) going to get much practice in on her bike ?

Right on. Her name is Kim👍

Yeh English shocks. You could try emailing NJB in England to send you some different inserts, or make up some double diameter bolts. Those original shocks won't last the race, be like riding a soggy pogo. Someone else has mentioned gearing and I'd be looking at a much bigger air filter. Back in the day they did. But you're probably already dealing with all that..

love your videos. any recommendations on quiet exhausts? i've gone through a few, packed them, and still way to loud.

Thanks for watching! I'm probably the worst guy to ask about quiet exhaust. Would gladly make a recommendation if I had one, but I don't unfortunately.

Similar clearance issues on bsa b44, a bridgestone ax41 18x4.1 adv tyre is actually 4.2 inches wide and doesnt hit the chain, its knobbly enough for trail rides and is street legal

Do you think it's a profitable idea to buy used motorcycles and to resell them? I'm in Ohio, have been riding all my life, but not mechanically inclined. I'm thinking about this as a business idea. Your thoughts?
@jeremyatkinson49767 ай бұрын
If you're not mechanically inclined it's an idiotic idea. This guy's knowledge of these types of bikes is encyclopledic and he's also mechanically very good.

I have been doing it as a hobby for 20 years, you can learn every thing you need to know on your phone from experts like Bill. Find a niche and enjoy the ride, if you want to get rich it probably is not the way, it's just fun!

@buckybarnes3803 It's about the least likely way you'll become wealthy, but I wouldn't trade the last 6 years for anything. If working with and doing commerce with the kindest and coolest people on the planet is your goal, I can highly recommend this business. Just make sure you have reserve cash to get you through 😆.
