I found a desert temple on the edge of a desert and overlapping with plains with a 6 block swamp pretty close to it.

You could turn that back area into a garden, maybe with a small fountain, as an oasis from the desert heat.

Btw, if you encourage the wandering traders llamas into a boat, the leads will break and you can pick them up and use them for your camels, no harm to trader or llamas.

I’m still LOVING these longer episodes. I know quite a few people have said this already but it’s so nice seeing someone build in the desert; I feel like we all neglect it because it’s not so lush and lively but it can be a nice change! You made such a nice home there! Also you saying “I’m wearing pants, I swear” like 3 times really sent me. ☠️ We get it; you got dressed this morning. NashCrafter: Ok, we are building a starter house! Also NashCrafter: _Renovates and redesigns a desert temple and builds herself a starter _*_manor._* If that hill outside of the courtyard were pushed back just a couple of blocks, that could make a lovely little garden patch. And just some sandstone walls should keep your camels penned until you get leads.

Literally obsessed! Personal opinion, the supporter tower would look cool with the hanging signs lined up! The hanging signs can actually hang off side walls and each other, which is a really nice feature of 1.20. I’ve been taking full advantage for labeling my storage systems and creating spawn rules for my SMP!

I love your redesign. It really takes the temple to the next level while still being looking like it’s origins. When I converted a desert temple in to almost a Roman home I added a swimming pool in the basement where the treasure room used to be.

Loved how you rebuilt the Desert Temple and made it your Own, it kinda reminds me of some of the Places in Egypt during World War Two with the Style you went for. Banner Ideas: Using a Cyan Banner, add a Yellow Flower Charge to it and then add a Cyan Downward Gradient. Next Add in a Yellow Triangle at the Bottom and then add a Light Gray Upward Gradient. Finally, you can just finish the Banner Pattern off with a Brown Line across the Bottom. The Idea for this Pattern is to have Cyan as the Sky above the Desert, the Flower Charge as the Sun, the Triangle as the Temple and the Brown Line as the Terracotta in the Temples design. The Gradients are there mainly to get the Proper Shades or to keep the Sun and the Temple from Merging into each other. I don't think there is an Advancement for this but if you were to rebuild the Village from the Ground up, there should be something like "Village Architect" or something if you actually do this. Maybe it's when you've expanded the Village past a Certain Point to that it's no longer a Village but a Town or even a City. Rebuilding the Nearby Village: so a Few Build Ideas for the Village if you want to try and Rebuild it. • A Mosque or a Mission: There are Plenty of Areas in Deserts where there are Places like Churches for the Locals to Worship their God(s). You'll need plenty of Gold Blocks for the Roof of the Mosque and it's Minaret Tower as well as either some Dark Gray or Purple Stained Glass Panes or Tinted Glass Blocks/Panes for the Curtains of the Latter. This is where the Cleric Villagers in the Village will be, so have some Brewing Stands ready at something like an Altar. • An Administration Building: Some Places in the Desert would have a Building for Administrative Purposes, usually where the Local Officials would convene to discuss matters of Importance to the Village or the Area. This building generally is wide at the Front, and has a Back Area with a Dome on top that just peaks up from behind the Roof in the Rectangular Front half. This is likely where you'll find your Librarian Villagers so have some Bookshelves ready. • Housing for the Locals: The Houses will Vary from being a Single Story Square House and Long Houses which are two Square Houses put together to Large Two Story Houses, all will have Stairs along the Sides to get up to the Rooftops. There are some places where there will be some Crates or Barrels. • Wells: Village Wells are usually near the Center of the Village so that if any of the Locals need water they have easy Access to it. • Roads: The Roads are usually Wide enough to left Vehicles Pass by each other for the Most part so having them 7 Blocks wide will do the trick. Use Dirt Path Blocks and Course Dirt Blocks for the Roads so that you can see them. • Village Walls: These will Vary from the 1 or 2 block Tall Walls that you'll find around the Village to the 3 or 4 Block Tall Walls you'll find by Buildings with a Formal Entrance or a Courtyard before you even get to the Building. The Latter Walls will also have a Wooden Gate with a Brick Archway as the Entrance And Exit. And if you get to doing a Village Raid, the Best Defense is a Good Offense. Using Cobwebs with Cactus Blocks or Sweet Berry Bushes underneath is a Great way to make some Barbed Wire in Minecraft. Use Nether Brick, Spruce Wood or Oak Wood Fenceposts as the Supports for the Barbed Wire every 4 Blocks. This will be 2 Blocks deep (Front to back) with a 1 Block Gap and then the Same thing again for a Total Depth of 5 Blocks. These can be Bolstered with Trenchlines that are 3 Blocks wide and 1.5 to 2 Blocks Deep (Top to Bottom). The Floorboards can be Campfires and Plank Slabs and the Interior Walls can be Oak Logs with Spruce Fenceposts as Supports and the Occasional Ladder to get Over the top of the Trenchlines. I'll have a List of Buildings from a World War Two Tabletop Miniatures Wargame that I play called "Flames of War" by Battlefront Miniatures. They've been around since 2002 and these Buildings are going to be from their Battlefield in a Box Range of Products. I'll also provide the Dimensions of each Buildings in the Set and have them Upscaled to be Built in Minecraft for you as well if you're interested in trying to have a Blank Canvas to work with. I hope you like the Idea Nash, I spent about two hours typing this up. Let me know what you think about the Banner and the Village Build Ideas and I'll catch you in your next video Girl!

Turned out great! 😍 I was amused though because I kept seeing animal faces in your build. I was like, "...this went from being a creeper temple to a desert frog temple. ...And suddenly it's a frog and camel temple." 😂 But the details mostly got rid of that effect. 😅 Seems to me you practically got a desert villa there. This is so pretty and the spruce wood is such a lovely contrast. ❤ I agree, azalea leaves would look much better. I love using what I find in lush caves to make a desert oasis, even moss on the ground instead of grass. There is so much you can do with this starter house and the surrounding area to make it look lush and pretty. I'm looking forward to what you do next.

You know you can ride camels, right? Not sure why you're leading Gizmo. They're apparently actually pretty fast when you 'sprint' while riding them. And for nighttime, supposedly they're tall enough that melee mobs can't hit you?
