Any cast iron cookware would be something you might want to grab. There was a cast iron skillet in one of the bins. They are heavy so because they go by weight I’m not sure about the cost. Things like pots with lids (Dutch ovens) pans, or skillets like are something people look for. They can be used for stove top frying, oven baking, grilling or smokers. Older seasoned ones are hard to find. Since they’re second hand, I do scrub them up good. Once I’m satisfied with how clean they are, I season them again. This is my first time watching your video. I enjoyed it enough to watch the whole video. You’re very down to earth and REAL. And you taught me something new. I will be burning stay threads from now on. Awesome idea. Thank you. I look forward to watching more of your videos. Also, I 100% agree with the other comments. Flower arranging is an art and your daughter has a real gift for it.

AND, usually the specific basket weaver initials each basket that they make!!! So there should have been hand written initials on the bottom! Grab every one you see! Keep up the grand work! The longaburger basket is worth a minimum of 75.00. Many on Etsy and E bay. I saw you miss a cast iron pan. They can be worth a lot too. And the stainless steel fry pan you left because of conditions; it is easily cleaned to look like new with bar keepers friend and a coil steel pad. Then they sell for a lot.

Longerburger was so big in 90s. People paid big bucks and collected and collected them. There office building looked like a basket almost like this one. They were all hand made and employees were locals. I live in A big city Ohio but everyone over 30 probably knows all about them. And love all your other stuff. Great finds.

I have done that with natural fibres, like jute and sisle though I didn’t have a name for it. Where I first learned this technique was with the extra lint that build up on terry cloth bathrobes. A weird parlour trick in a college dormitory - really cool to see the blue flames travel up the robe in the dark 😂 hadn’t thought about it until you told you navy story.

I love it all! The baskets are so awesome! I was hoping you were going to jazz them up, but I had no idea how beautiful they would look with your touches. Also love what you did with the accordion wall hanger, turning it into a shelf. And the other little riser was brilliant! The repurposed votive jar on the top of the bowl was perfect. Goodness, it all looks so gorgeous! You are such a good mamma, letting your daughter express herself and giving her credit. That is so important, and she definitely has an eye for those arrangements! ❤❤❤❤❤

Longaberger Baskets are heirloom quality. The are made in the USA! There are MANY collectors out there. You got a steal on that basket! 👍

Homer Laughlin is also highly collectable and also is made in the USA. Homer Laughlin is known for their vintage restaurant wares and Fiestaware. You can date your pieces by the marking on the bottom. Another cool find! AND funny enough...both Longaberger and Homer Laughlin are made in OHIO.

inspired by you i have just got three ikea dining chairs from Facebook market place, which match one I already have. I am going to paint with Renovate Paint and make nice seatpads for the chairs. The chairs were FREE! I will be painting a utility dining room table to match the chairs which my neighbour gave me when he was moving and downsizing. So the only cost was the paint which was £42 but I am also re-painting my 'once upon a time pine' Ikea sideboard. This will be it's third incarnation and all for under £50 i think thats pretty good value.

I have such tremendous respect for you Hun for so many reasons. Firstly what an incredible mum you are and how you involve your children if they are showing an interest. Just by giving your eldest daughter the opportunity to discover that she loves floral arranging and is indeed very good at it...and that's not as easy as some creators make it look. I sell a lot of smalls: copper kitchen items, church cookbooks and books in general, and teapots. Also I find that people are looking for bedside chests no matter how beat up but re-done. You have convinced me that I can spray paint pieces of furniture. Plus stools and (dining table) chairs do well. I’m in Alabama, an auctioneer and certified appraiser. Ukuleles have always sold well. Best wishes! As for the Chanel: leather smells good, plastic stinks. The torn up part you showed in the back looks like leather. Take it in to a good retail store and ask a salesperson in the purse department their opinion. I’ve never seen a Longaberger basket that large. I could charge $45-65 and it would sell.

Longaberger baskets go for pretty good prices at thrift stores. I am not surprised that it's in great shape. They are extremely well made. Colanders painted a fun color, make adorable hanging baskets .I have several on my screen porch. You can grow live plants in them or fill them with artificial plants. Keep thrifting and flipping. I love it!❤

The second basket with straps (a backpack 🎒) is missing its lid & a strap or two. I bought mine back in the mid-70’s. Years later I saw the same kind of basket in an old photo in National Geographic. An Indigenous Indonesian man was putting heads (headhunter basket) inside the carrying backpack. I am very proud of my find. And used it for years as a backpack purse.

There was a coffee mug you passed up you should have picked up. It is part of the corella dinnerware collection called butterfly gold. People are inheriting their mother's collections of the the corell. And funding people whole are selling the pieces to those who want to get the missing pieces. I have my Mothers and will be selling the pieces l have. But l have been rebuilding the Spring Blossom set l use to have.

As you asked: You passed on some new envelopes ( ?schooling?) and some scrapbook papers ,(I’m not sure if they weigh too much or not- that mattters.)The latter can be used in picture frames as backing. On Amazon, they sell Angelus acrylic leather paint & the finisher. That stuff is AMAZING! I did this to an office chair, that on the armrests looked like the inside of the wallet. It took a several coats because it was SO bad but it actually evened out then after the finisher it looked brand new!!! I was BLOWN AWAY!! I never expected those kind of results. You may not want to do this on the wallet but I thought I would mention it. Also, they come in 4 oz. sizes and I got one black and one brown. I focused on the worse spots until almost even and when I saw how good it was looking, I did the whole chair. I still had paint left after I was through! So it goes a long way. I spent maybe $35-$40 instead of hundreds on a new chair! Just thought you might like to keep it in mind in case you ever need it.
