Desh Bhagat University Hosts G20 School Connect Leadership Summit Awards

Desh Bhagat University (DBU) proudly hosted the G20 School Connect Leadership Summit Awards today in Khanna, marking a significant milestone in the realms of education and leadership.
During a press conference held as part of the event, Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice President of DBU, unveiled the institution's new education policy. Among its initiatives is the Shakti Scholarship, designed to empower and support girls in their educational endeavours. Dr. Sadawarti underscored DBU's dedication to promoting education among girls, highlighting various scholarship programs available, including the Shakti Scholarship, Needy Scholarship, and Single Girl Child Scholarship. With over 200 courses offered, DBU currently educates ten thousand students across India, with approximately 700 students hailing from 25 different countries. Dr. Sadawarti expressed the university's commitment to nurturing students as job creators, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's new education policy and emphasizing the need for skill-based education.
The G20 School Connect Leadership Summit Awards recognized excellence in various categories including leadership, innovation in education, and community engagement. Distinguished individuals such as Principal Mrs. Anju Bhatia, Dr. Manjali Menon, Mrs. Anupama Sharma, Mrs. Deepali Nanda, Mrs. Swati Ghai, Mr. Neeraj Kumar, Mr. Harminder Singh Bhatia, Mr. Jagdeep Singh, Mrs. Anjum Abrol, Mrs. Rajni Verma, Mrs. Mohini Bhardwaj, Mr. Rajneesh Nanda, Dr. Sapna Thapar, Mrs. Anuja Bharadwaj, Mrs. Taranveer Kaur were honored for their exceptional contributions. Social Worker Harcharnjeet Arora, Adv. Munish Thapar was also facilitated.
The event also featured panel discussions on various pertinent topics such as decoding the new education policy, upcoming technology trends in the education sector, integrating artificial intelligence in classrooms, prioritizing student happiness and well-being, promoting active and experimental learning methodologies, fostering entrepreneurship education, addressing global challenges in education, enhancing creativity and efficiency in learning, and grappling with ethical issues in education alongside promoting health and sports education.
Media Director Dr. Surjit Kaur Patheja was also present on this occasion. The successful execution of the event was credited to the diligent efforts of the event coordinators including Jagdeep Kaushal, Dr. Rahul Thour, Dr. Vijay Puri, Rajinder Kumar, and Rajwinder Kaur.
