As swarn singh sir said(9:35) that india try to differentiate these two i.e QUAD and indo-pacific. But i dont think that these two can be differentiated because as country started using indo-pacific instead of asia-pacific, it means that between two giant country of asia you are choosing one by saying indo-pacific and it also itself reflects that it is against the interest of china because this word some how diminishes the power of china in this region and also the formation of QUAD has the same motto i.e to counter china. So i think behind the formation of indo-pacific and QUAD has the same motto. If anyone agree or disagree with me than plz comment.

I think as our pm says that indo Pacific is not to contain China but to provide a free environment to all the countries..his speech in Shangri la dialogue reflect the same ..
