निकाह -हलाला, बहू -विवाह जैसे भारतीय समाज मे प्रचलित कुप्रथायें खत्म होनी चाहिए। ऐसी प्रथाएँ धार्मिक ग्रंथों में उल्लेखित नहीं होती है।इसे समाज के कुछ गणमान्य व्यक्ति द्वारा अपने निजी स्वार्थ के लिए शुरू किया गया, जिसे अन्य लोगों ने अपना लिया कालांतर में वर्चस्ववादी सोच के कारण प्रतिष्ठा की विषय बनी हुई है। ऐसे मुद्दे को समझने के लिए RStv को धन्यवाद!

Part third of our constiution gives us (citizens) a compregensive list of justiciable rights and nobody has right to overide these rights in the name of the religion. Triple talak, nikah halala and so on must be abolished from our society and there should be uniform civil code for the citizens irrespective of their religion. Even many muslim countries of the world already has abolished these inhumane religious laws.

there is no halala in islam it is only a issue for politics as in islam a woman can not be get married without her own wish( in written form) if she is adult , so why a woman again marry to frst/old husband?intead she can marry other person...so no question of halala as a woman is eccepting any husband with her own wish..and a grl is not adult(child) she can not be married alone with her own wish without her parents wish means both her wish and her parents wish and wish(in written form) is needed.....why any woman marry again to old husband who alrady divorced her?

CASE 1: HALALA:- halalla is nowhere mentioned in quran and even prophet mohammad strictly condemned it. am sorry to say that Mr. zakir was unable to covey the correct thing properly. the correct thing is, if there happens a divorce between a coupe and the woman marries to another man and by chance her second husband dies or gives her divorce in that case that woman can marry to her first husband. this whole process is unintentional. intentionally marrying other man to get reverted to first husband is strictly prohibited ( "LANAT"). here "INTENTION" of the whole process is the basis to decide the legality. CASE 2: POLYGAMY:- is to provide support to destitute or a victim woman and its not a compulsion and this has to be done with the prior consent of first wife of that man.
