I'd love to see you cover the entire Perpetual Burn album by Jason Becker, that would be pretty fuckin' killer

Holy cow. The technique, mastery and sheer command of the instrument is quite breathtaking. A little more restraint and melody would be the final cherry on the cake.

Great playing, but Jake's solo smokes that one musically.

@@SanDimas234 this is a cover plus he improvises on his every cover he does you could have listened to the original solo if you love it so much why watch a cover at the first place?

I've played guitar my entire life and Nobody except for one other guy in the comments is talking about the fact that what his fingers are doing and the sounds you hear are not the same. He keeps looking at the camera to see if it looks like he's playing it but he obviously didn't practice enough to make it convincing. The one time he had it going he repeated the same mistake of missing the tapping part and then doing more that aren't even in the audio TWICE.... Imploring you to notice none of it except for one section looks like he's actually playing it. And he managed to fuck that up.

techniquement fort mais pas de feeling on est loin du grand Jake e lee .

Fake. Watch fingers and listen closely to what is played. I do not know why he does that, he can actually play, there are live videos of his band on YT.

Incredible technical playing, but terrible restraint. He took one of the most iconic 80's metal guitar solos and turned it into an arpeggio workout. The truly great players understand that the spaces between the notes are just as important as the notes themselves.

"Im gonna play Bark at the Moon's solo but entirely wrong at the same time"
@jimbowayoutub23 жыл бұрын
Ironically - same name - different opinion. I like Jake's solo better BUT this dude is entitled to play the solo to his taste and style. Not 'wrong' per se. Further I can play Jake's solo spot on yet don't think I can match this guys shredabilities. Talented. no doubt.
