Oh Deshauna 🥺 What a gift you and this podcast (episode) are! It felt personal on so many levels. I nearly married my lesson/punishment in August and I'm glad God woke me up to the reality of who I was with and what I was in. Your story and journey has become such a beacon of hope for me in this experience...

At the end of the video I came to conclusion that my parents were married but always argued and fought. So therefore I have a bad view of relationships and it is possible it’s reflected onto my relationships by me being avoidant to avoid the constant conflict. As soon as there is a disagreement I run 🏃‍♀️, not that this is healthy but it triggers my nervous system where I feel uncomfortable and once I feel uncomfortable I decide it’s time to leave because I don’t want to be manipulated. Unfortunately having gone through that and not having any values to stick by has gotten me used, cheated on and left. Unfortunately some people test your boundaries that way too which I don’t understand why. Eventually I realize now it’s time to become the best version of myself for me instead of wanting others to see it in me or for me to see the best in others and them approve of my validation to them. Ouch. All I can say for anyone who reads my comment is to have values, boundaries, and personal space where you still have your own life and to not dedicate your worth onto anyone else. 🙏

Thank you for sharing your story so openly. It’s powerful to recognize how our past experiences shape our present behaviors, especially in relationships. It’s not easy to face these patterns, but the awareness you’ve gained is a huge step towards change. Embracing your own values, boundaries, and self-worth is a transformative journey, and it’s so inspiring to see you commit to becoming the best version of yourself. Remember, you’re not alone in this, and your experiences are valid. Keep prioritizing your growth-you deserve it. 🧡 Thanks for supporting this episode hun!
