The adjectives you have used for Shawon, all can be used for Humayun Ahmed, he wanted to have a young and beautiful girl as wife, didn't he? He was more than mature enough to be seduced by an immature girl. All the firls were falling for him in that era by reading his novels, the same happened with Shawon and she wouldn't be with him if he didn't want. Back then Shawon was already a champion of 'Notun Kuri', she was a great dancer, actor and singer, so how can you ignore her talent!! Stop giving these cliche opinion, it's 2022. Anybody can understand. By the way, I am a big fan of Humayun sir and I like the personality of Gultekin Ahmed as well.

Having crush on some one or having desire towards some one is quite natural as you have pointed out. While I was doing my MA in Sweden, my Irish professor once told me that it is wrong to act on those desires. Cause by your logic, people then will end up in multiple marriages as you said it is okay to fall for anyone who is married or a prominent figure ! It is because of people like you exist abnormal is considered as norms. And for your kind information Notun Kuri was the best talent hunt programme in the history of BD probably. Don’t boast of your own wisdom only, you might not know everything. It seems really funny when a person doesn’t want to acknowledge someone else’s talent, it shows your standard too. Who are we actually to measure standards by the way?? Moreover everything is relative, the thing seems right to you, might not be the same for me. I am going to UK soon for my M.Sc, will see if my views get changed after being in a different culture. But whatever it is, I will always acknowledge a talented person’s talent, it won’t degrade my standard for sure.
