محترم جناب ڈاکٹر صاحب میں اسلام آباد کا رہائشی ہوں جبکہ میرا تعلق مری سے ہے یہاں اسلام آباد میں دودھ 240 کلو بھینس کا اور گائے کا 220 کا کلو ملتا ہے اور گاوں میں گھی 5000 کلو اور دودھ بھینس 250 گائے کا 220 کا ملتا ہے اور اگر کوئی بھی یہاں اسلام آباد کے مضافاتی علاقے میں ڈیری کا بزنس کرے تو وہ کم از کم سیل کے سلسلے میں بلکل بھی پریشان نہیں ہو چاہیے اس کے پاس 1000 لیٹر ہو تب بھی لوگ ڈیری سے لے جائیں گے اور جن گائے کے لئے آپ ایئرکنڈیش استعمال کرتے ہیں اگر وہ مری کے مضافات میں رکھی جائیں تو بغیر اے سی کے ان کو رکھ سکتے ہیں اور دودھ بھی ڈیری پر ہی سیل ہو جائے گا

I need little more clarification as HF cows milk has 3.5% fat whereas water buffalos has 5- 12% fat. HF cow 25 litre milk can produce 1 kg milk thus 15 litres of buffalo milk should produce 1 kg of Desi ghee. So please could you verify the above statement.

It depends on milk fat, pakistan mien buffalo milk ki fat 6 tak hi deekha hie mien nay… yeah roughly 22/25 litters according to google 😂

Sir one kilo of buffalo milk gives 7% fat or 70 gram fat. By this definition only 14 kilo of buffalo milk is required to produce 1 kilo of desi ghee. So calculations are not adding up (as farmer is claiming 25 kilos to 1 kilo of desi ghee?)

Asslam O Alikum Dr. Muzzamnil Sahib, I am writing you with reference to use the word “Organic” in farming industry in Pakistan . Mostly, convention method is given the name of organic and people needed to be well aware with this word. A little while ago I was watching you program of “Organic Desi Ghee” word used by your guest. The buffalo needed to be fed with non-GMO seeds and no artificial fertilizer or pesticide has been used on buffalo feed. The land of forage, lentils and/ or feed is free from chemical fertilizer and pesticide for at least 3 years. Organic milk differs from conventional milk in three specific ways: it must come from cows that aren’t treated with antibiotics, it must come from cows that are not given any hormones for growth or reproduction, and it must come from cows that receive at least 30% of their diet from pasture. That 30% comes out to 120 days out of the year. Organic crops/ products are grown under a system of agriculture without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides with an environmentally and socially responsible approach. Organic animal feed is grown with no added synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilisers. Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), hormones, and antibiotics are also not allowed within organic farming systems, meaning your organic animal feed is free from them too! Organic Butter /Ghee means at least 95% organic ingredients. This rule excludes salt and water, but the cream used to make the butter is required to come from an organic farm. Just 5% or less of ingredients can be non-organic, but still have to meet specific standards as set by the USDA. Products that have a label of “100% Organic” must have completely organic ingredients and the label “Made with Organic….” should contain at least 70% organic ingredients. Organic dairy cows also eat organic. To meet the USDA organic guidelines, cows that produce organic milk must eat food with all organic ingredients. This means that the grain and corn that they consume (in addition to grass) cannot be contaminated with any pesticide usage or antibiotics. Organic cows feed on grass for at least 20% of the year. An organic dairy farm is required to allot a minimum of 120 days per year as a grazing season. During this time, the cows get to eat grasses and roam in an open area. The grazing season does not have to be continuous and may be at different times depending on the geographical region. Plus, a grass-fed diet gives butter a more golden color! And why else is grazing important? Well... Cattle grazing benefits the land itself. We might be more familiar with the benefits of grass-feeding for the cows themselves and us as human consumers. But recent research has shown that grazing is beneficial for the land and environment as well. Grazing can be an important factor in conserving wildlife habitat and restoring ecosystemic balance. Organic butter has no GMOs. Genetically modified organisms have become a hot topic in the last few years with differing opinions and research. If you’re unsure about the safety of GMO products, then buy organic. USDA organic regulations prohibit the use of GMOs in food production. How could these enter into butter production? Grass and crops are planted to feed the cows and it’s not uncommon for genetically modified seeds or other materials to be used at conventional farms. However, an organic farm must not use any GMO seeds to plant grass or crops for their cattle to consume. Organic dairy has the nutritional advantage. Because the cattle are required to graze on grass for some portion of the year, organic dairy products (and organic beef) have more omega-3 fatty acids and a more desirable omega-3 to omega-6 ratio. The ideal ratio is higher in omega-3s than omega-6s and the reverse could have negative effects on your cardiovascular health, immune system and inflammation. Organic milk is slightly higher in healthy fats, vitamin E, and iron than conventionally produced milk. I would like to take the benefit of this opportunity to request you to aware our colleagues with “Organic Milk, meat, butter, Ghee or farming.” A great precaution is needed to label conventional farming with organic farming. In Pakistan, we need an organization to certify “an organic production” of any farm with input in f farmers, lab reports of soil and surprise check and lab test to rule out any chemical fertilizer or fertilizer pesticide spray.
