I made some errors in the video. So please read the corrections below. I will be happy to add more corrections when they are pointed out. I will try and be more careful in my future videos about the accuracy of things I say. Immigration process is not my domain. I made this video on request. I will now stick to topics and issues that are within my domain and refrain from talking about topics outside of my domain.
EB2: People even without master degree can apply if they have 5+ years of experience.
EB1B: You must have an employer.
EB1C: H1B visa holders can also apply as long as the criteria of an multinational manager or executive is met. You must have been employed outside the United States for at least 1 year in the 3 years preceding the petition in a managerial capacity. .

Green card rules keep on changing.... focus should be on learning, making money, and enjoying life... and not on Green Card.... almost everyone gets green card eventually... and then they realize it doesn't change their life even one bit..... Enjoy the journey...don't worry about destination...

Ja: Good one. Indians (and Asians) students comes to USA with high expectations. Go with the flow. I came to USA in 1979 for undergraduate egineering education and everything worked out. Therefore, study hard, work hard (part time campus work), party hard (with gf), cheap travel hard (during semeters breaks). If all things fail go back home ( for me it is Bangkok, Thailand). This is my 40th year in USA.

Great information. It would be helpful if you could make a detailed video on how PhD graduates can qualify for EB1-B with details such as the number of publications, conferences, citations (# depends on the field, if lower?), patents (pending/published), industry/academia, peer reviews, recommendation letters, etc.

@Doug B bruh there is an affidavit of support if the women doesnt make 125% of poverty line and also some women are very nice and doesn't look for rich men...many people get green card out of marrage about 25% of all green cards that gets issued are marriage based. So if you are very good looking Indian the chances are u might actually find a loyal girl and then all u have to do is to love her from the bottom of your heart, never cheat on her after your green card is issued. Most lucky people gets successful at this. U don't need to be lucky in immigration office but u need to be a bit lucky to get a girl.

I have a H1b (working in an aerospace company as a senior tech engineer), Phd (from germany), MS (from US) and some good publications but not that many citations (around 24 so far) and I will ask my employer to apply for my green-card. Even when employer applies for my green-card, they will go through it via Eb1b or Eb2 ? Or, is there a separate employer-based green card where you don't need Eb1b or Eb2 categories and we don't need to satisfy the requirements of Eb1b and/or Eb2? My main concern is citations. I will appreciate if you could reply.

Please do not create temptation for young Indian students for Phd in US, then leave old parents in India and settle in US as professor. .... please think think in this angle.you are indirectly contributing towards breaking of the family system to look after at the old age.

I think you do not know the history behind the video. The video was made on request by my subscribers who wanted to know how to get a green card fast through the route of getting a PhD and becoming a professor. Some others then asked about ways to get green card. So rather than making two videos, I made one video. I informed up front that the focus of the video is giving an idea of how PhD+Professorship is one of the faster tracks to citizenship but I also quickly give an overview of other means as well. Then when I discuss the PhD+Professorship route at @6:51 I mention that now let us come to the main topic of the video. I spend more time on this route than any other route.

Siblings have to be unmarried. If you are coming from India and China, you will wait for many years before getting a green card waiting for your priority date.

We can disagree a bit. People can surely come to this great beautiful country. They will enjoy as long as they are aware about the immigration issues and do not count on getting a green card for any significant life decisions.

Exactly.... Green card rules keep on changing.... focus should be on learning, making money, and enjoying life... and not on Green Card.... almost everyone gets green card eventually... and then they realize it doesn't change their life even one bit..... Enjoy the journey...don't worry about destination...

A lot of information provided in the video is inaccurate. Eb2 can apply to people even without master degree as long as certain criteria is met. Eb1B cannot be filed without an employer. Eb1C can apply to H1B holders as long as the criteria of an Multinational manager or executive is met. Please refer to uscis website for latest and accurate information.
