As always,Ravi Veer brings hidden gems. He's absolutely right,you don't need to burn a hole in your pocket especially if you have limited budget. These days you have ample options in used car segment under 1 lac to meet your requirements. I purchased 2012 model Indigo CS for 80k as a second owner couple of years ago. Not only it has covered my spent money but has provided the comfort that i was dreaming within my budget. I can easily use it for another 6 years and can even extend its registration further if it kept providing the same comfort. Most people follow the copy cat strategy while buying a car and later regret. Buying an used mid segment car is way better than buying an entry level car. It's similar to buying an used flagship phone than buying an entry or mid range phone. Not only you'll feel the quality and performance but a satisfaction of owing a flagship will always be there.

True but the issue is people are scared of purchasing used cars. People who buy cars costing around 2 lakhs or less would be 1st time buyers and they would obviously not be knowledgeable about cars. People in our country are willing to fool everyone and so innocent buyers are scared of approaching these thugs who are called used car dealers. They can maybe get good cars from individual buyers but they are hard to find.

Last year I bought maruti esteem 2004 model for Rs 60000 and spent additional 30,000 rs on seat covers,music player,ac,tyres and wheel covers. Trust me I have done all Himachal till spiti and it's running like a breeze. Its passing is till 2024 and I will drive it for another 2 years

I have Accent GLE 2005 Model. Its is still the beast and its road presence is amazing. My car condition is still fresh. Had installed CNG in 2019, No breakdowns in 17 years and No major part failure yet. It was one of the best engineered car ever made. Still the power is far better than latest cars. its 1500 CC beast baby - I will still use it till it completes 20 years ❤❤❤

But honestly around 10% lag during AC on but still better than most of current vehicles. Unstoppable ❤️❤️❤️ Petrol - 9 kmpl 😭 and 14 on highway getting as per company mileage since 17 years.

Sir Is gadi ko mein ne 6 saal pehle 65k mein li thi. 90-95k km chali thi. Phir cng bitha k 4 saal mein aur 90-95k km chala k dec. mein maruti ko bechi 60k+30k bonus leke becha. Mujhe yeah gadi woh time mein 2-3Rs/km chal ti thi. Woh bhi kya din they. Abhi Aisa deal milna mushkil hai.

I have bought old i20 asta petrol from 2012, it's a great car. Been using it for couple of years, top variant is great. It gives me 18kmpl average without ac, with ac 16.7kmpl. Its build quality seems better than new gen I20. I considered tyres, battery, clutch plate, insurance policy and insurance history while buying. Buying second hand car is a great learning experience.

@@NM-jf9wv hello, I bought it for 2.9lac(72k running) sab milake. One thing you should remember, mileage - Hyundai jada nhi deti. Tumhre requirements pe depend karta h. If you don't use it daily you can think of buying. Baki when buying second hand car, simplest way ye h k foot peddles dekho kitne rub huye h to confirm Kitna running hua h. Tyres, battery, clutch plate, engine, insurance history, aur accidental damage hood k ander kuch h kya wo dekho. Pricing dekhoge to changes according to city aur car konsa model h uspe depend hoga. 2.5-3 lac tak mil Jani chaiye if condition is excellent. Also consider how many years you are planning to keep it.

Mere pass hai same car on cng 2010 model. 1,90,000km chal chuki hai original koi prob nahin hai suspension bi ok h ekdm koi extra sound nahi hai cng m top speed 180 jaati hai aaj bi. I have also XUV 700 but accent ko drive krne ka mja hi alag hai ek ek din m 900km bi chlayi h recently on cng.
