Great tutorial! #QuickTip: Instead of manually editing the styles in the calendar at 18:26, save your first doc where you got all the styling figured out as "Template.indd" and import the styles into your calendar doc. In the calendar doc, choose "load paragraph styles" from the dropdown, and then select your Template.indd file as the source. It will automatically overwrite any style in the calendar doc with the same name, saving much time :) Do similar for cell styles.

Big thanks for taking the time to explain the whole setup. I’d like to do it & print it out at home however the only thing that stops me is trying to figure out how all the calendar pages are attached to each other. Are they stapled together? Glued? Magic Dust? How do you do it? It’s the only thing that’s missing. Thanks again for all your instructions.

you can bind them together by punching several holes through it and attaching one of those spiral spine. I'd also recommend punching one hole at the bottom of each page to hang it on the wall. You might be able to find the tools you need in a stationery store or a craft store

Thought of a question: Is there anything else that would need to be done before sending the document off for printing? Shuffling the pages around? Adding bleeds, etc?

Great tutorial Mr. Mao but i am having trouble with trying to save the settings in the preset menu 9:35. How do I have my presets to include the settings in framing section. Whenever save a new preset. And, I load the new preset the frame setting field comes up blank.

Great video. Two things: When printing, how is the positioning of the pages handled when you are printing four-up with a staple in the vertical center? Also, could you have created a master page for those image pages and then overridden the locked frame on each? Just thinking out loud here, not sure which method is more efficient since I have tried this yet. Thanks. - Nick

Hi Teressa! Thanks for watching. I did print these, however, it was a different design and for a client. The client design is not what was shown in this tutorial. However, here are my exact specs for printing: 11" X 8.5" - 28 Page Saddle Stitch Calendar On 100LB GLOSS BOOK with AQ on both sides

great tutorial but i when i changed the font for the day text, it made the bottom row of cells disappear and no matter what I do i can't get it to open up the square to show them, like you do in the video. It's driving me crazy! It should be so simple!
