Don't you guys think that this whole "design advocacy / evangelization" kinda stuff is one of the biggest reasons for frustrations and burnout cases within the design field? People that work for low maturity companies (1-3) get this information and think that they can change the structure of the company, being that the business model is that what defines it in the end. I believe that designers could and should help with communication within the company, but being very aware of the environment they are and having a clear ideia of how much they can take.
