Finally someone else who is called OLAF like my snowman from frozen :-) Stan on those forks what you need to do is to use a bucket tooth from CAT 7T3403 Bucket Tooth Those you can exchange out and you can keep working. For the hoses the solution is simple. Calculate the length movement of the hose and 2/3 goes into a steel coil spring. This way it's up and out of the way but when you fold the steel coil spring will bent and flex with the move of the bucket but straighten back out when it retracts. On top the steel of the coil spring will protect it from any damage.

You asked for more ideas on attachments - as tree and land clearing company I would love to see a tree shear that can operate both vertically and horizontally. That way you can cut the tree down, then use the machine like a processor to buck it up without having to leave the cab. Having the ability to rotate 90 degrees would also make it practical for cutting roots and removing stumps. The other benefit I can see from this would be you could also use it to skid out the trees you remove.

I worked for a company 30 years ago that built something similar for digging railroad ties. It didn't have top clamp. 2 super heavy forks, we had a 12 inch dozer blade at rear bottom of forks so we could dig ties at angle and when full backup, put blade down build flat spot for ties to set on edge. When ties all gone. Logging truck with short bunks came by and load ties. We cleared 180 miles of track.
