I love the idea! I have been looking for a tool like this where I can bring in my designs and generate multiple patterns. I'm just curious what program you used to put the final package together. My guess is Photoshop. You could make a video showing us how you put the package together using Photoshop and alternative tools. Thank you for all your hard work. I really appreciate it.

Hi! I use Affinity Designer for my mockups. Here is an older video I made that you made find helpful kzbin.info/www/bejne/nWTXh5xnptqff6s

The example you showed isn't seamless from the point of view of using in POD merch as the pattern software on the POD sites, such as Printify, will simply line it up according to the edges of your file. And your product will end up with misaligned repeats. You can manually adjust in their design software but it can be easy to make am error. I prefer, if I am using the Repprr design for patterns, to export with the repeat in Repper as a whole number ( no decimals) and then the export truly is seamless and can be used in a pattern maker. This means that the exported file will be rectangular not square. This is because the repeating tile design is rectangular and you can't export to a square without losing tile-ability. When the tile in Repper is square you don't have that problem - those will export to square 3600 x 3600 no problem.

Absolutely! Thanks for clarifying!

If you watch the Repper video on exporting, the numbers at the top of the custom panel (size? Don’t quite remember), have to be whole numbers, no decimal places or it will not be seamless. It also needs to be exported as a tile. Hope this helps 😊

Can I ask... What do people use digital heavily patterned paper for? This is the first time I'm hearing of it.
@sellingdigital Жыл бұрын
Hi! So many things! I think this is why Digital paper as a whole is my favorite to design for. Patterns just sell a bit better sometimes than a standard digital paper. People use Digital Papers for ordering their own fabric, For Print on Demand items, For creating digital designs to sell, for Sublimation on Earrings, Mugs, Tumblers and For many things in the scrap booking world.

hey! for some reson all of the seamless pattern options arent creating seamless pattern, it does on two sides only, do you know about this issue?

Hello! I learned after this video that you need to save the Tile option for it to save correctly and you will then have the seamless pattern

Shame it does not repeat illustrations

Yes! you should give Creative Fabrica Spark a try. They have this "repeat background" feature that does perfectly with illustrations
