Why the beam doesn't have offset to the face of the column?

One issue is coming bro ! Suppose i have a span 11mx16m ! (11 along horizontal and 16 vertical) ! So i have put some 3 columns in between 16m at some intervals, and i want my main beams to span between them along 11m ! While there is one cross beam on the columns (vertically) from centre of 11m ! But rcdc is breaking my main beam instead of the secondary beam !!! How to define this properly ki which is primary and which is secondary?

Hello. Thank you for the tutorial. I am having a peculiar problem with beams. I have beams 2 meters in length but when I import to staad rcdc the beam length changes to another dimension. Sometimes I get 6 meters. I have secondary beams in the design. Your help is appreciated

@@structuralworld4880 I will recommend. Could you please do a tutorial on cantilever slab without beams in Staad pro and its detailing in RCDC? The challenge is the reinforcement to come from behind the supporting beams. I am yet to nsee a tutorial on that. Most times they leave it out at staad pro and never take us through the detailing in RCDC. Thank you sir.
