i think there is a mistake in Ac because Ac = Ag - As where Ag is gross area and As is area of steel. You take Ac = Ag ,that is a mistake i think..

Sir, the formula for min eccentricity of less than 5% is applicable for column of min dimensions of 400mm

it just means that u are ignoring shear effects which bring distortion to the plane ......this statement is the reason that we have linear relation of strain with depth

Sir I am working on site. There is high rise building 2 basement and G + 14 floor building. So there is one column in basement that size is 500*900 and steel using 24 nos 25mm bar so steel percentage is around 11.30% so this is higher than 6% so any problem in that column or not
